I am very happy to announce the Finnish demoscene community made a huge step forward, as UNESCO in Finland has listed the Demoscene as UNESCO intangible national cultural heritage, wohooo! This is a seemingly small step with big implications, as this is the first time ever, that a digital culture is enlisted as UNESCO intangible world cultural heritage!
Thank you all who supported us in this so far on the “Art of Coding”-Initiative – and rest assured, we are just getting started, as applications in more countries are on its way.
