ARTISTIC WORK

For me, art and technology are not separate – they inform and inspire each other. My artistic work lives at the intersection of technology, culture, and human experience. With VR Dance Club, I explore with our team what happens when dance meets virtual reality — creating mixed reality performances that push the boundaries of how we move, connect, and perceive space. Beyond that, projects like ArtOfCoding reflect my belief that digital tools, from code to real-time animation, can be genuine forms of artistic expression. VR Dance Club

“How can dance and technology converge to create encounters where the unexpected emerges?” Questions like this fuel the artistic collaboration between Anna-Carolin Weber and Tobias Kopka. VR Dance Club is a german artist collective exploring the intersection of dance, movement, and digital technology. Working collaboratively with artists, researchers, and technologists, VR Dance Club investigates how bodies and algorithms can move together, pushing the boundaries of contemporary performance art. Their work includes projects such as Hybrid Encounters, I Spy With My Little Eye, and Beautiful Connection, which challenge traditional notions of embodiment and presence in the digital age.
